Peggy Dunn Dalton

Peggy Dunn Dalton, 62, of Benton, TN passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, H.V. and Mamie Brock Dunn.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dewey Dalton; children and spouses, Christa and Greg O’Neal of Chatsworth, GA. and Jonathan and Keena Dalton of Athens, TN; brother Milton (Dean) and Tammy Dunn of Cleveland; grandchildren, Natalie O’Neal and Emma O’Neal, Eli, and Brock Dalton.  Several nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.

Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home in Benton, TN with Reverend Floyd Boggess  and the Reverend Homer Roberts officiating.  Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Benton Memorial Gardens  with Matthew Swafford, Nathan Swafford, David Hicks, Todd Trew, Donald Dunn, and Randy Yates, serving as Pall Bearers; a white dove release ceremony will concluding the service.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the funeral home prior to the service.
