Carrie Dyer, 86, of Cleveland, TN passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at her residence. She loved to play her guitar, sing gospel music and go to country and bluegrass festivals. She also liked going camping.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Dyer; parents, Sam and Emma Wilcox; son, Lee Roy Dyer; granddaughter, Kelly Dyer; sister, Maybelle Pierce; brothers, Joe, Bill, Gee, Russell, Wayne and Dan Wilcox.
She is survived by her daughter, Lecia (Omar) Teague; grandchildren, Jason (Candice) Sneed, Stacey (Michael) Teague, Lindsey (Travis) Teague, Melissa (Chris) Carden, Jennifer Barrett, and Travis Dyer; great-grandchildren, D. J. (Lyric) Grayless, Peyton (John) Leamon, Holden (Masha) Barrett, Chase Ogles, Tynsley Brown, Nolan Sneed, Parker Sneed; great-great grandchildren, Chandler Womac, DeAnna Green, Fen Leamon and Carter Rogers. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Greasy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
