Mary Lois Green

Mary Lois Green, 74, of Conasauga, passed away, Friday, December 11, 2015 at her residence.  She attended Welcome Valley Baptist Church and was an employee from Beaulieu of America.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvie C. Green; parents, George Palmer and Fannie Lea Whisenant McClure.

She is survived by her children, Rita (Jackie) Headrick of Ocoee, Margaret Green of Chatsworth, GA, Rhonda (Jamey) Phillips of Crandall, GA, Richard (Tammy) Green of Ocoee and Teresa Smith of Conasauga; grandchildren, Lisa Black, Amy Headrick Bean, Jeffrey Headrick, Richard Green, Jr., Jeremy Headrick, and Cody Green; step-grandchildren, Tristan Hawkins and Cristan Chappell; great-grandchildren, Haley and Katie Black, Trinity Stewart, T. J. Hawkins, Lucy Hawkins, Tori Hawkins, Jaydin Chappell, Olivia Chappell, Allie Chappell, McKenzie Chappell, Zadin Chappell, Alec Green; sisters-in-law, Mary Lynn Hamlin of Taswell, TN, Catherine Jackson of Chatsworth, GA, Margie (Frank) Pierce of Dalton, GA.; brothers-in-law Buford Green of Tennga, GA, Wilburn Green of Conasauga, TN, Gary (Glenda) Green of Chatsworth, GA.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Chad Maxwell officiating.  Interment will follow in Liberty Church Cemetery in Conasauga, TN.  A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Monday, December 14, 2015 at the funeral home.
