Paul Kenneth Godfrey

Paul Kenneth Godfrey, 83, of Benton, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 22, 2014. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Welcome Valley Baptist Church. He was born on February 12, 1931 to the late Robert and Carlie Godfrey. He was preceded in death by four brothers, J.L., Roy, Herb and Eugene Godfrey and one sister, Leoda Rogers. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Betty Godfrey; one son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Lafonda Godfrey; one daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Brent Miller; five grandchildren, Nicholas Gibson and wife, Lauren, Heather Baca and husband, Rob, Ryan Miller and wife, Katelyn, Kali Miller, Justin Godfrey; one great-grandson, Landon Miller; one brother, Burch Godfrey and wife, Dianne; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve Ross officiating. Interment will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Benton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
