Guy Robert Epperson

Guy Robert (Robbie) Epperson, 56, of Benton, TN, died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at a Durham, North Carolina hospital. He was born on March 9, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a deputy sheriff for nine years with the Bradley County Sheriff's office. Mr. Epperson was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ray Epperson, maternal grandparents, Harlie and Ona Belle Odom, paternal grandparents, Maynard and Rachel Epperson. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Voyles Epperson; son, Robert Epperson and his wife Natalie of Naples, FL; daughters: Brandi Barahona and Heather Garner of Benton, Stephanie Barton of Chattanooga, Belinda Edwards of Clintwood, VA; mother and stepfather, Mary Epperson Chappell and Georger Chappell of Benton; sisters: Beth Morgan and husband Jay of Riceville, Kathy Stewart and husband Don of Benton and Donna Perry and husband Patrick of Cleveland; stepbrothers: Mica Chappell of Cleveland, Chris Chappell of Brooksville, FL; step-sister Jennifer Crawford of Ridge Manor, FL; 13 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be conducted at Higgins Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014 with Reverend Bill Odom officiating. Interment will follow in Benton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2014 at the funeral home.
