Harvie Clayton (Mousie) Green, 74, of Conasauga, passed away, Thursday, August 9, 2012 at his residence. He was of Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus Wilburn and Laura Rae Ross Green; brother, Clarence Dave Green and sister, Sue Parker. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lois Green of Conasauga; children, Rita Headrick and Jackie Headrick of Ocoee, Margaret Green of Chatsworth, GA, Rhonda Phillips and husband, Jamey of Crandall, GA, Richard Green and wife, Tammy of Ocoee and Teresa Smith of Conasauga; grandchildren, Lisa Black, Amy Stewart, Jeffery Headrick, , , Richard Green, Jr., Jeremy Headrick, and Cody Green; step-grandchildren, Tristan Hawkins and Cristan Chappell; great-grandchildren, Haley Black, Katie Black, Trinity Stewart, TJ Hawkins, Lucy Hawkins, Tory Hawkins, Jaydin Chappell and siblings, Mary Lynn Hamlin of Taswell, Buford Green of Tennga, GA, Wilburn and Susie Green of Chatsworth, GA, Gary and Glenda Green of Chatsworth, GA, Catherine Jackson of Chatsworth, GA, Margie and Frank Pierce of Dalton, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2012 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Charles Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Church Cemetery in Conasauga with Jeffery Headrick, Tristan Hawkins, Billy Green, Rufus Green, Jimmy Green, Jeremy Headrick, Gary Green and Randy Green serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 9:00 pm on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the funeral home.
