Benjie Coker

Benjie Ray Coker, 37, a resident of Old Fort, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was of the Church of God faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Benny Coker and grandfather Jr. Stewart. He is survived by wife, Dedra Myers Coker of Old Fort; mother, Pauline Stewart Walden of Benton; children: Timothy Coker, Taylor Silvers, William Coker, Benny Coker, Cheyanne Coker, and Patrick Coker; brothers: Scott Stewart and wife, Jennifer of Benton; Michael Coker of Benton and Benny Ray Coker; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. Wednesday April, 4, 2012 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerry Herron and Reverend Carl Haulk officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 5, 2012 in Brock Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M.
