Mabel Keith Triplett

Mabel Janette Keith Triplett, 86, of Benton, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012. She retired from Hardwick Clothes after 38 years of service. Mabel was a member of Old Ocoee Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher Columbus Keith and Hue Ella Fay Yates Keith; husband, Carl S. Triplett; brothers, Major Keith and Eugene Keith; and sisters, Minnie Tallent, Pearl Triplett and Bonnie Wood. She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Silvers and Diane Buck of Benton; son, Charles Triplett and wife, Teresa of Cleveland; grandchildren, Jill Roberts and fiancé, Cory Parish of Benton, Eric Silvers and wife, Kathy and Scott Silvers and wife, Sharon, all of Cleveland, Eddie Wilbanks of Kingsport, Terry Alexander of Cleveland and Brad Triplett and wife, Joy of Virginia; great grandchildren, Shane Roberts, MacKenzie Roberts, Sydney Silvers, Tanner Silvers, Emaline Silvers, Austin Silvers, Kevin Silvers, Anna Silvers, Kannon Alexander, Aaliyah Alexander and Serena Triplett; and several nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Old Ocoee Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Joe Hatcher officiating. Eric Silvers, Shane Roberts, Terry Alexander, Bill Triplett and K.W. Triplett will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Keith and Scott Silvers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home prior to the service.
