Imogene Dunn Wilcox

Evelyn Imogene Carver Dunn Wilcox, 81, of Reliance, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at her residence. She was a member of Calvary Church of God and was an avid gardener and lover of flowers. She also enjoyed quilting. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mandy Carver; her husbands, Julius Dunn and Junior Wilcox; brother, Junior Carver; and sister, Ruth Black. She is survived by her children, Bobby Carver and wife, Nina of Birchwood, Kenneth Carver of Reliance and Mary Dunn Steels and husband, Dale of Cleveland; grandchildren, Eric Carver and wife, Donna, Joey Carver and wife, Kassie, Charity Carver, Jessica Carver, Heather Carver, Jordan Steels and Clayton Steels; great grandchildren, Lexi Carver, Grayson Carver, Marcus Carver, Gracie Carver, Hannah Carver, Kimberly Blackwell, Christian Blackwell, Alicia Carver and Dylan Carver; sisters, Florene Jenkins and husband, David, Grace Webb and Ailene Wilcox; brothers, Arie "Bud" Carver and Harold Carver and wife, Debbie; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Paul Gregg officiating. Interment will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Hiwassee Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
