Brenda Price Wilcox

Brenda Price Wilcox, 59, of Benton, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 in a local hospital. She was formerly employed with Remington. She was a member of Hiwassee Union Baptist Church in Reliance. She was preceded in death by her father, Andy Price; and son, Johnny Wilcox. She is survived by her mother, Minnie Kirkland Price of Benton; children, Denise Fields and husband, Brian, Marty Wilcox and Justin Wilcox and wife, Sabrina, all of Greasy Creek; , Brent Wilcox and fiancé, Lorrie Moree of Delano; daughter-in-law, Shannon Wilcox of Benton; fiancé, George Reeves of Benton; grandchildren, Brooke Wilcox, Chaise Wilcox, Logan Parker, Chasity Parker, Bethany Wilcox, Caleb Wilcox, Chad Fields, Colby Fields, Kayla Wilcox and Austin Wilcox; sisters, Jerry Morrow and husband, Lloyd of Cleveland, Wilma Thompson and husband, Sammy of Ocoee, Rose Wilcox and husband, Wade of Greasy Creek and Janice Standridge and husband, Sonny of Delano; brothers, James Price and wife, Debbie of Benton, Larry Price and wife, Lisa of Etowah and Scotty Price and wife, Gelene of Greasy Creek; and several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Gary Moats officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Hiwassee Union Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday at Higgins Funeral Home prior to the service.
