Blain Edward Hall, 81, a life-long resident of Polk County, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 in a local healthcare facility. He was a retired tow motor operator with Hardwick Stove. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Lila Rymer Hall; his wife, Lillian Davis Hall; daughter, Karen Hall; brothers, Arley Hall, Alie Hall and Fleetes Hall; and sisters, Velma Darnell, Minie Rogers, Alma Green, Charcie Wilson and Mary Corsey. He is survived by his daughter, Ann Hamm and husband, Wesley of Etowah; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including special niece, Betty Bailey of Benton. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery in Old Fort with Minister Doyle Parton officiating.
