Thresa Watts Gregg

Thresa Watts Gregg, 80, a lifelong resident of the Greasy Creek community, quietly passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at home with family by her side. She was a member of Calvary Church of God where she taught Sunday school for 45 years. She also was tireless in her efforts to witness about the Lord. She loved to be outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl "Englewood" Watts and Haley Kimsey Watts; sister, Sena "Pat" Watts; and brother, Carl Glen Watts, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Reverend Paul Gregg of Reliance; sisters, Margaret "Tooter" Hall and husband, Lonas of Reliance, Sue Gregg and husband, Donnie of Cleveland, Billie Carol Bates of Ocoee and Sandra "Sandy" Brown of Old Fort; brother, Phillip "Bull" Watts of Reliance; several nieces and nephews; and more "considered adopted" children than can be counted. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Greasy Creek Cemetery with the Reverend Randy Bragg officiating.
