Ruth "Alvada" Beck Crisp, 71, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ late Monday night, January 17, 2011 with her loving family by her side. She was a very loving mother and grandmother, and will be missed but not forgotten by all who knew and loved her. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Mack Beck and Ruby Satterfield Beck. She was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church and a retired school bus driver for Bradley County and most recent Polk County. She was preceded in death by two sons Anthony "Tony" Bishop and Billy "Ray" Johnson; her father and mother, Charlie Mack Beck and Ruby Satterfield Beck; two brothers, Gene Beck and Estle Beck; five sisters, Louise Beshears, Pauline Mantooth, Ruth Beck, Anna Mae Beck and Judy Beck. She is survived by two sons, Terry Wayne Johnson of Cleveland and Jeff Bishop and fiancée' Patty Jackson of Missouri; one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy Bishop Park and husband Nathan Park of Ocoee; two granddaughters, Amy Sue Love Johnson of Cleveland and Sydney Nichole Park of Ocoee; two sisters, Mary Ellen Jones and Geraldine Bradford both of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews who loved her very much. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 19, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home in Benton and the funeral service will be Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. also at Higgins with Reverend Mitchell Pendergrass officiating.
