Christine Woody

Maryann Christine Woody, 40, a resident of Benton, began her journey home Monday, January 11, 2010. She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Lee "Moe" Woody. She is survived by her daughters, Chelsie and Ashley Kersey; mother, Linda Woody; brother, Michael Woody; niece, Meggie Woody; nephew, Charles Michael Woody; and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Gary Moats and the Reverend Joe Hatcher officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Old McDonald Cemetery in Ooltewah. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00-7:00 at the funeral home prior to the service.
