Josh Cronan

Josh M. Cronan, 16, of Old Fort passed away Monday, September 14, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a student at Polk County High School and attended Benton Church of God. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles Cronan and Arvil Williams. He is survived by his parents, Mitchell and Melanie Williams Cronan of Old Fort; brothers, Thomas Cronan and Jonathan Williams, both of Old Fort; sister, Samantha Williams of Greasy Creek; and grandmothers, Judy Cronan of Old Fort and Jackie Williams of Gainsboro, TN. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Herron and Reverend Guinn Green officiating. Interment will follow in Cumberland Shed Cemetery in Old Fort. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
