Daniel "Dan" Charles Musgrove, Sr., 77, a resident of Bradley County, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 2, 2009. He was retired from Hardwick Stove where he was a machine operator. He was preceded in death by his parents, Evra Deluva Musgrove and Hazel Lillard Musgrove; son, Tim Musgrove; sisters, Wilburn Shelton, Willie Prueitt and Bobbie Dockery; and brothers, Ralph Hale, Edwin Musgrove and J.D. Musgrove. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Jo Musgrove; children, Daniel Charles Musgrove, Jr. of Ocoee and Tammy Gray and husband, Doyle of Old Fort; grandson, Josh Gray; sister, Katherine Housley of Lenoir City; daughter-in-law, Jill Musgrove; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Higgins Funeral with Reverend D. L. Wilson and Reverend Art Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in Old Ocoee Cemetery with Terry Housley, Harry Housley, John Housley, Danny Dockery, W.A. McDonald and Mo Prock serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 4, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
