Norman Willis Dunn, 80, a lifelong resident of Ocoee, went home to be with his savior, Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at a local hospital. He had a zest for living and loved socializing with people, never meeting a stranger. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and was an active member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He was retired from the Polk County Board of Education. He was the son of the late Jack and Susie Howard Dunn. Survivors include his wife of 60 years Lola Dunn; daughter Diane Clark and husband Cliff; and grandchildren Crystal and Ryan Clark of Atlanta, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2009 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Reverend Arris Cavender and Reverend Kinzel Hooker officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. His family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Higgins Funeral Home.
