Ralph Wooten, 75, a resident Benton, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2008 in a Cleveland healthcare facility. He was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from T.D.O.T.
Mr. Wooten was the son of the late Mac D. Wooten and Lucy Wilcox Wooten and was also preceded in death by six siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Flossie Cronan Wooten of Benton; children and spouses: Tony and Judy Wooten, Benny and Lucille Wooten all of Benton, Harvey Mac and Martha Jane Wooten of Farner, Kathy and Eldon Keith of Benton, Cynthia and Dewayne Davis of Oldfort and Joyce and Jerry Herron of Ocoee; twelve grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; four sisters; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Herron officiating. Interment will follow in Cumberland Shed Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
His family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
