Thelma Sue Swafford

Thelma Wiley Swafford, 85, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, December 04, 2007 in a local hospital. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. She was a twenty five year member of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Swafford was the daughter of the late Andrew (Andy) Wiley and Jenny Brock Wiley and was also preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Bellamy and Arnold Watson; brothers and sisters: Wallace Wiley and wife Ona, Aline Moss and husband Burchett, Evelyn Keshe and husband Frank, Reba Eaves and husband Letcher, Paul Wiley and David Wiley and wife Nancy.

She is survived by son: Gary Paul Bellamy and wife Jodi Bellamy; grandchildren: Matthew and Jillian Bellamy of San Antonio, Texas; Kirstopf Bellamy of San Antonio, Texas, Gary Bellamy of Hurricane, West Virginia; sister, Billie Watson; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Caywood and Reverend Jasper Woody officiating. Interment will follow in Brock Cemetery with her nephews serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

Her family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the funeral home prior to the service.
