Edith E. Rhan left this earth Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at Bradley Care and Rehab in Cleveland, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Rhan; parents, George and Eleanor Rex; sisters and brothers-in-law: Carol and Ralph Pelkey, Carol and Ken Bauer of Wayland, New York.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Diana and Calvin Adams of Dalton, Georgia, Sherry and Mo Aslam of Orlando, Florida, Carol Rhan and Larry Condon of Germany, Felicia Rhan of Cleveland, Tennessee; two sons and daughter-in-law: Bill and Lisa Rhan of High Springs, Florida and Willis Rhan of Smyrna, Tennessee; sister and brother-in-law: Georgia and Robert Morgan of Pittsford, New York; grandchildren: William Weems, Matt Adams, Jenny Weems, Nadir Aslam, Heather Neilan, Farrah Aslam, Samina Aslam, Wesley Rhan, Robert Rhan, Annette Rhan, Destiny Rhan, Taylor Rhodes and Mackensie Rhan; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and many friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007 at the Benton United Methodist Church with Reverend Mat Merker officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Polk County Friends of the Library or the Moccasin Bend Girl Scouts.
