Yvonne Onetta Cochran Plumley, age 66, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2007 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. Mrs. Plumley was the daughter of the late Clarence Cochran and Gray Pell Queen Cochran and was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Plumley; brother, Charles Allen (Chigger) Cochran; sister, Azalee Qualls.
She is survived by her sons: Wesley Plumley, Rodney Plumley, Jerome Plumley and Jonathan Plumley all of Cleveland; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Hayden Cochran and Gordon (Bud) Cochran; sisters and spouses: Janie and James David Godfrey and Margueitta and Rodney McClelland; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Arlin Brown officiating and his son, Jerome Plumley giving the Eulogy. Interment will follow in the Delano Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
