Bobby Charles Patterson

Bobby Charles Patterson, 71, a resident of Conasauga, joined family in heaven Friday, April 11, 2008. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church. He had worked many years in local stove foundries and carpet mills.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Charles Daniel Patterson; parents, Hobert and Ollie Botts Patterson; and brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joan Patterson of Conasauga; 2 sons, Donald Patterson of Conasauga and David Patterson (Debbie) of Ringgold, GA; 1 daughter, Charlotte Reynolds (Stan) of Benton; 2 sisters, Regina Mock of Eton, GA and Joanne Walker of Nashville; 2 brothers, Jewell Patterson and Cee Jay Patterson of Cleveland; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; 2 special care nieces, Pam Ethridge of Eton, GA and Connie Hill of Dalton, GA; grandsons: Chris Patterson, Nathan Patterson, Derek Patterson, Scott Wilson, Casey True and Coty Brandon.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2008 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Homer Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Conasauga Community Cemetery with his grandsons serving as pallbearers.
His family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
