John Tupper Lewis age 75 of Benton passed away at his home on Sunday April 1, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents John Tup and Elizabeth Jane Paggett Lewis. He was also preceded in death by one daughter Johnnie Ruth Rose and one brother Jim Lewis and one sister Mary Ellen Moore.
He is survived by one daughter Victoria Harvey of Chattanooga, one stepdaughter Lawana Thompson of Lafayette, GA.; four brothers Larry Lewis, Gene Lewis, Frankie Lewis all of Benton and Houston Lewis of Maryville, TN. one sister Betty Lewis of Benton
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home.
His family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the funeral home prior to the service.
