Connie Teresa Higgins

Connie Higgins, 46, a lifelong resident of Benton, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at the family residence. She was of the Baptist faith. She was employed as a supervisor with Honeywell.

She was preceded in death by her father, Owen Higgins; and brothers, Dudley Higgins and David Higgins.

She is survived by her mother, Marie Higgins of Benton; brother, Mickey Higgins of Ocoee; nephews: Jeremiah Higgins of Benton and Nicholas Higgins of CA; great nephews, Preston Higgins and Peyton Higgins; great niece, Kiley Higgins; and special cousin, Donna Stephens.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2008 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Ronnie Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in Samples Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Jeremiah Higgins, Jack Higgins, Scott Stephens, Trevor Stephens, Craig Powell and Katie Stone serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be: Nicholas Higgins, Jackie Jr. Higgins 3rd, Jamey Joines, Peyton Higgins and Preston Higgins. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
