Anderson Daul Haulk

Anderson Daul Haulk, age 71, a resident of Polk County, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2005 in a local healthcare facility. Before his retirement, he was employed with East Tennessee Nursery. He was a member of Welcome Valley Baptist Church. His parents, Howard and Ada Bishop Haulk, preceded him in death.

He is survived by wife, Vera Haulk of Polk County; one son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Tammy Haulk of Benton; three step-children: Thomas Haulk and wife, Nellie of Benton, Janice McClenland of Cleveland, and Levieta Vankson of Benton; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Lorene Shell of Benton; one brother, Fred Haulk and wife Beulah of Reliance; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Welcome Valley Baptist Church with Reverend David Bowers officiating. Interment will follow in Smyrna Cemetery with the release of a flock of white doves concluding the service.

His family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at Higgins Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
