Stella Jewell Harris

Stella Jewell Thomason Harris, 55, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2007 in a local healthcare facility. She attended the Benton Church of Christ. Mrs. Harris was the daughter of the late Richard and Helen Thomason and was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Thomason.

Survivors include her children and spouses: Lena and Steven Bramlett of Cleveland, Amanda Medlock and Jim Bob Medlock of Hope, Arkansas; sisters and spouse: Virginia and William Moorhouse of Cleveland and Hattie and Danny Milen of Benton; brothers and spouses: Raymond (Buddy) and Peggy Thomason of Dawsonville, GA, Roy and Marg Thomason, John and Judy Thomason , Ligie and Wanda Thomason Neil and Susie Thomason all of Benton and Steve Thomason of Lafayette, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Minister Tommy Mounts and Minister Danny Rogers officiating. Interment will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the Old Ocoee Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Pallbearers will be James Milen, Howard Lovell, Roy Gene Thomason, Tony Headrick, Steve Thomason and Lucas Thomason. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Thomason, Anthony Thomason and Jason Thomason.

Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
