Steven Jeffery Gargala

Steven Jeffery Gargala, 47, a resident of Delano, passed away Friday, June 27, 2008. He was preceded in death by his son Aaron Gargala and brother, Ronald Gargala. He was a member of Towee Baptist Church in Polk County and will be remembered as a loving husband and father.

Survivors include his wife, Caroline Dockery Gargala; father, Steve Gargala of Cleveland, Ohio; mother, Billie Price Higgins of Reliance; son, Anthony Brazier and fiancée Katie Ward of Cleveland; daughter, Ashley Gargala of Delano; one grandchild, Caden Jones; brothers: Tom Gargala and wife Sheila Gargala of Benton and Scott Gargala and wife Christie Gargala of Old Fort; sisters: Janet Corn and husband Ted Corn of Etowah and Kim Hamby and husband Kyle Hamby of Reliance; sister-in-law, Sandra Crawford and husband Craig Crawford of South Carolina; brother-in-law, Tommy Dockery and family from Tucson AZ; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2008 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend John Bivens officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 30,2008 at the funeral home prior to the service.
