Willie Mae Freeman, 65, a resident of Springtown Community, passed away Monday April 7, 2008 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a member of Springtown Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Bain and Ora Bain; brother, Jack Bain and sister, Dorothy Lowe.

She is survived by her husband, Alden "Buford" Freeman of Springtown Community; daughter, Sherri Beavers (Gary) of Crandall, GA; sons, Bobby Freeman (Tricia) of Hixson and Ronnie Freeman of Cleveland; 3 grandchildren: Sarah Beavers, Amber Blanks and Rebecca Blanks; 1 great grandchild, Taylor Mae Beavers; sisters, Mary Ruth Rymer and Evelyn Sharpton both of Cleveland and Paulette Lewis of Chatsworth, GA; brothers: Bill Bain of Tennga, GA, Charles Bain and Carson Bain of Reliance and Joe Bain of Cog Hill; brother-in-law, W.N. Lowe; sister-in-law, Becky Bain; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Pete Morgan and the Reverend Charlie Bain officiating. Interment will follow in Morgan Cemetery in Springtown with her nephews serving as pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
