Grace Imogene Frady

Grace Imogene Hood Frady, age 78, a resident of Old Fort, passed away Friday, June 16, 2006 in a local hospital. She was a member of the Blue Ridge Temple Church and was a member of the Ocoee Eastern Star Chapter 420. Mrs. Frady was the daughter of the late Charlie A. and Eva Shannon Hood and was also preceded in death by her siblings, Ada Hood Moore, Charles Innas Hood, Vance D. Hood, Millard Clarence Hood, James Hood and Franklin D. Hood.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Frady of Old Fort; children: Dewayne and wife, Laura Frady of King George, VA, Allen Frady of Cleveland and Melissa Frady of Zambia, Africa; four grandchildren: Christopher Frady, April Frady, Joshua Frady and Jonathan Frady; one brother and spouse: C.A. and Betty Hood of Maryville, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Parm and Reverend Chuck Tanner officiating. Interment will follow in Dill Cemetery with the release of a flock of white doves concluding the service.

Her family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
