Clara Nell Bandy

Clara Nell Chastain Moorhouse Bandy, age 72, a resident of Benton, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2006 at the family residence. She was a member of the Delano Baptist Church. She had been employed with the Polk County Farm Bureau. Mrs. Bandy was the daughter of the late Sam and Florence Tilson Chastain and was also preceded in death by her first husband, Vance Moorhouse and sister, Sybil Chastain.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Bandy of Benton; daughter and son-in-law: Becky and Ken Mirabella of Delano; sons and daughter-in-law: Vance and Janet Moorhouse of Delano and Tom Moorhouse of Cleveland; six grandchildren: Vanessa Martin, Tyler Moorhouse, Nichole Brock, Nathan Mirabella, Bethany and Guy Triplett; great-granddaughter, Stephanna Martin; four brothers and sisters-in-law: Gerald and Dorothy Chastain, Garvin and Marcia Ann Chastain all of Delano, Kirby Chastain of Lupton City, Ray and Brenda Chastain of Kingston.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend W.L. Shipman officiating. Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Benton Memorial Gardens.

Her family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
