Alvin Price

Alvin Price, 71, of Benton, departed this life peacefully on June 24, 2022, at a Chattanooga healthcare facility.

He was born on January 25, 1951, in Benton, Tennessee to the late Felmer and Nola Kate Darnell Price.  Throughout life, Alvin developed a passion for working on cars and anything that had a motor in it.  In his younger years, he enjoyed riding and racing motorcycles and tinkering with go-carts.  He was dearly loved by his family and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, Felmer and Nola Kate Price, he was preceded by his wife Tina E. Price; siblings, Barbara Thomas, and Mary Frances Johnson; niece, Kimberly A. Blevins.

Left to cherish the many memories include his three sons, Alivin Nathan Price, Brian (Brittany) Price, and Joe Price; siblings, Ruth Harris, Gene (Phyllis) Price, Bill (Charlotte) Price, and Dennis (Carlena) Price.  Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at Greasy Creek Cemetery at a later date.
