Brenda Faye Dotson, 77, of Benton, departed this life peacefully on June 25, 2022, with her beloved family at her side.
She was born on June 23, 1945, to the late Luther C. and Deloroius Cook Rayburn. Throughout life, Ms. Brenda developed a love for flowers, gardening, and was an avid reader. She attended Delano Baptist Church and deeply loved spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren. Ms. Dotson was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, Luther and Deloroius Rayburn, she was preceded by her beloved husband, Bill Dotson; son, Victor Miller; daughter, Robin Miller; siblings, Maxine Rogers, Luther “Jackie” Rayburn, and Roger Rayburn; brother-in-law, David Rogers.
Left to cherish the many memories include her beloved children, Debbie (Bob) Swigert, and Jeffery Scott Miller; grandchildren, Joe Divinsky, Bobby (Racheal) Swigert, Ryan Miller, Chase Price, Paige Price, Brenton Williams, and Kayla Miller; great-grandchildren, Peyton Munoz, Layla Swigert, Landon Swigert, Hayleigh Cooper, and Kayleigh Price; sister-in-law, Brenda Rayburn. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30. 2022, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home of Benton with Pastor Jamie Johnson officiating. Entombment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery with her family serving as pallbearers.
Family and friends will gather from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
