Carl Glen Rymer

Carl Glen Rymer, 74, of Reliance, departed this life peacefully on June 19, 2022, at his home.

A hard-working man and a talented mechanic, Carl was a dedicated employee with Evans Lumber Company for many years and loved spending time with his family and friends who will deeply miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Lonnie Shell Rymer; one brother, Larry Rymer, and nephew, Mike Wilcox.

Left to cherish the many memories include his beloved wife of forty-four years, Eulalene G. Rymer; loving children, Calvin (Kanessa Farmer) Powell, Jason (Keisha) Powell and Tina Rymer; grandchildren, Connor Powell, Kaitlyn Powell, Austin Powell, Kyla Powell, Dalton Ray, and Linia Cheatham; one sister, Bonnie Wilcox; daughters-in-law, Kealy Powell, and Christian Powell.  Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Bates Cemetery, with Rev. Wilfred Wright and Rev. Bobby Rymer officiating.  His family will serve as pallbearers.
