Charlie Andrew Cronan, 70, of Polk County, departed this life on Friday, November 19, 2021, with his wife at his side.
He was born on May 16, 1951, in Cleveland, to the late Grover and Pauline Stewart Cronan. Throughout life, Charlie was a hard worker and strived to care for his family. He retired from the Polk County Road Department after 30 years of dedicated service. Charlie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother who cherished his family and enjoyed spending time with each of them. He was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish the many memories include his loving wife of 44 years, Alice Burke Cronan; beloved children, Amy (Scott) Hawkins, Skylar (Franklin) Freeman, and Kerrie Zumstein; cherished grandchildren, Klassy Dilbeck, Kallie Hawkins, Tucker Hawkins, Noah Zumstein, and Gabrielle Zumstein; great-grandchildren, Maverick Dilbeck,; siblings, Faye Bradshaw, Mary Lynn, and Randall Cronan. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.
A Celebration of Life graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Old Ocoee Cemetery.
