Chelsie Dawn Weishapl

January 19, 1990 — February 4, 2022

Chelsie Dawn Weishapl, 32, a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many, peacefully departed this life on February 4, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 19, 1990, in Wichita, Kansas to Dan Weishapl and Cathy Hall Weyland.  A lover of life and friend to all, Chelsie had a special place in each person’s heart that she met.  Throughout the journey of life on Earth, she grew to have a strong passion for being outdoors, especially with her brothers, nieces, and nephews.  A few of her fondest memories include riding four wheelers, fishing, hiking, and the many trips taken to the beach.  Her heart was with her nieces and nephews and most recently found true love with her service dog, “Winnie”.  She never met a stranger and would willingly devote her time to care for each other and would care for each person regardless of the need, at a moments notice.  Dearly loved by her beloved family and friends, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Chelsie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Francis Weishapl, Lewis Hall, and Lila Younts; siblings, Devon Jon Weishapl and Cody Daniel Weishapl; uncles, John Hall, Timothy Sufficool, and Steve Finley.

Left to cherish the many memories include her loving parents, Charles and Cathy Weyland, and Dan and Cindy Weishapl; siblings, Justin (Amber) Peterson, Deloit (Nicole) Peterson, Danual Murray, Trinity Murray, and Jerri Rai Murray; cherished nieces, Gracie Bell Eisenhart, Cadence Camille Peterson, Lillian LeeAnn Hosier, Isabella Grace Peterson and nephew, Gabriel Kent Peterson; fiancé, Erica Templeton and her daughter, Emmi Younts; grandmother, Anna Weishapl; beloved service pet, Winston “Winnie”.  Numerous extended family members and a host of friends also survive.
