Dalton DeAmber Jones, 25, of Old Fort, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at her home.
She was born on October 28, 1995, in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Dalton loved spending time with her family and her niece, Aubree. She enjoyed hanging out with her friends, shopping and loved to help her mother make flower arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Truman and Nora Black of Benton and Frankie Perry of Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
Survivors include her loving parents, David, and Tammy Black Jones; beloved grandparents, Larry and Peggy Jones of Decatur, AL., Lawrence Perry Jr. of Fort Oglethorpe, GA., and Dewey Ramsey of Benton; sisters, Whitney Cross of Cleveland and Meshia (Jesus) Perez-Cruz of Rogersville; brother, Chase (Mikaela) Jones of Madisonville; niece, Aubree Jones; nephews, Levi Cheatham, and Noah Jones. A host of friends also survive.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Minister Zach Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Old Ocoee Cemetery with Tyler Black, Micheal Black, Randy Cross, Dillon Laney, Zane Hicks, and Bryson Hicks serving as pallbearers. Kayla Propst, Ashleigh Wilson, and Chad Lawson will serve as Honorary pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
