Danny Ray Green

Danny Ray Green, 80, of Benton, passed away peacefully at his home on March 20, 2023.

He was born on November 15, 1942, in Dallas, NC to the late Lonnie Albert Green and Beulah Inez Lathan.

In addition to his parents, Lonnie A., and Beulah Lathan Green, he was preceded by his son, Joey Shepherd; brothers, Joel Green, and Dean Green; sisters, Colleen Green, and Sue Green Smith.

Left to cherish the many memories include his beloved wife, Kathy Brannon Green; sons, Arlen Shepherd of TX, and Jamie Green (Janice Perian) of Benton, TN; grandchildren, Emily Vasseur, Gabrielle Shepherd, and Lewis Shepherd of TX, Gabriel Green of Benton; brother, Tom (Linda) Green of Ooltewah; sisters, Karen (Rick) Hannah of Dallas, NC, and Diane Bynum of Lincolnton, NC; honorary grandchildren, Daniel Williams, Emily Rynbrand and Lauren Rynbrand of Cleveland, TN; a special friend whom he considered to be like a brother, Raymond Mathis of Morristown, TN. 

No services will be held at this time at Danny’s request.  The family will be having a private service.
