David Lamar Henry

David Lamar Henry, 65, of Dallas, GA., passed away peacefully on December 21, 2019.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Marietta, GA.  David enjoyed golfing, grilling outdoors and spending time with family and friends attending the University of Tennessee and University of Florida football games.  David adored his many pets that were a part of the family over the years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Weyman Henry, Sr.

Survivors include his beloved family, Lauren and Tre Dwinell, Chas and Kristen Henry and Judy Henry; loving mother, Mary Alice Henry; grandchildren, Leighton and Weston Dwinell; brother, Weyman Henry, Jr.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Johnny Dixon officiating.  Interment will follow at Benton Memorial Gardens with Chas Henry, Tre Dwinell, Justin Henry, Todd Henry, Marc Kilpatrick and Bill Moats serving as pallbearers.  Tim Wattenbarger and Steve Hannah will serve as an honorary pallbearers.

His family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the church.
