David was always willing to help better the lives of his fellow believers and helped with many events at the church including, helping build the new church, driving 100’s of children to Vacation Bible School, taking the Senior Citizens on numerous trips and serving on multiple committees. He always showed up to help when any task needed to be done at the church.
David loved helping his friends and especially his mother-in-law. One of David’s fondest thing to do was traveling with his beloved wife and especially the beach trips with his great-nieces, Sydnee and Maci Vanpelt. He was a true friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Harrison and Grace Swafford and Wallace and Mattie Dixon; father-in-law, Buddy Swafford, Sr.
