Dylan Thomas Green, 24, departed this life peacefully on May 29, 2022, at his home with his beloved family at his side.
He was born on July 8, 1997, in Cleveland, Tennessee to George and Tammy Buchanan Green. A lover of life, Dylan was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and accepted Jesus Christ into his heart and soul at the young age of 6, while attending The Power Team performance at Shiloh Baptist Church. It was as if God was preparing Dylan for what was to come to him for the rest of his days on Earth in preparation of the day the Lord would call him home.
Throughout life, Dylan was diagnosed in 2004 at the age of 7 with T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and relapsed at the age of 9, finishing treatments in 2008 and was 11 years cancer free until 2019 when he was diagnosed with Stage Four Glioblastoma Brain Cancer and battled for almost 32 months.
An avid supporter and dedicated fan of the Tennessee Volunteers, he bled orange. One of his greatest loves during his brief time on Earth was that of the United States Military to whom he had a great love and respect for. Dylan also enjoyed researching the history and genealogy about his family. He was a 2017 graduate of Polk County High School, was loved by everyone who had the privilege to know him and will be deeply missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George “Bud” and Aznef Seto Green, Sr.; maternal grandfather, Ralph Buchanan, Sr.; step-grandfather, Robert Boswell; several aunts and uncles.
Left to cherish the many memories include his beloved and faithful parents, George and Tammy Green, Jr.; cherished siblings, Christopher (Whitney) Green and Lauren (Mark) Brown; bonus sisters, Brandi (Chad) Anders and Jessica (Jake) Brown; bonus brother, Christopher Jones; maternal grandmother, Rosemary Boswell; nephews, Matthew Green, Ty Brown, and Warren Brown; niece, Kaitlyn Green; special friends, Lucas Rogers and Noah Burczyk. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a beloved host of friends also survive.

Family and friends will gather from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
A Committal Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, concluding with a memorial white dove release ceremony.
