Edna Fulbright Moorhouse

Edna Mae Fulbright Moorhouse, age 81, of Benton, Tennessee peacefully passed on to heaven on Saturday, March 30, 2019. She was born August 3, 1937 to the late Paul and Gerthel Watkins Fulbright. She was a lifelong member of Benton Station Baptist Church where she dearly loved her WMU ladies and singing in the choir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Milford Fulbright, and sister-in law, Elaine; brother, Gerald Fulbright; sister, Helen O’Neal and brother-in-law, John, and niece, Kristen Hammontree Howard. Surviving close family include her beloved husband of 56 years, William Earl Moorhouse; loving daughter Julie Anne Moorhouse Shirer (Woody); cherished grandson, William “Alec” Shirer; dear sister, Janice Rymer (Sam); special niece, Paula Hammontree Harbison (Greg), and sister-in-law, Martha Fulbright. She will be remember with love by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 1, 2019 at Benton Station Baptist Church, 909 Benton Station Road, Benton, Tennessee 37307 with Reverend Ryan Potts officiating. Family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.  The family will have a private interment Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
