Elijah Allen Privett, infant son of Roger and Jessica Privett, departed this life in the arms of his parents on May 26, 2023, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Elijah struggled with an inoperable congenital heart disease.
His family cherishes his memory as the brief gift it was.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, James R. “Pops” Hale, and Jessie and Joyce Privett.
Those mourning his loss include his beloved parents, Roger, and Jessica Privett Jr.; one sister, Nevaeh Privett; grandparents, Larry (Tammy) Hale, Paula Tapley, and Roger (Nena) Privett Sr.; great-grandmother, Nancy Hale; and several uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of extended family members.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Crossroads Baptist Church, with Pastor, Dr. Richard Mason officiating. Interment will follow at Delano Cemetery with Roger Privett Jr., and Larry Hale serving as pallbearers.
Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family at Appliance Credit Union, In Memoriam of Elijah.
