Gloria Trew

Gloria Trew, 80, of Benton, departed this life peacefully on August 29, 2024, with her family at her side.

She was born on February 11, 1944, to the late Burkett and Eola Brown Tallent and on December 24, 1962, she married the love of her life, Jerry A. Trew.

Throughout life, Ms. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and church family the most. She was loved by everyone who had the blessing to have known her and will be dearly missed until we meet again.

In addition to her parents, Burkett and Eola Brown, and her husband, Jerry A. Trew, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Wanda Elaine Trew; infant grandson, Dylan Wade Trew; and one brother, Dale Tallent.

Left to cherish the many memories include her two sons and their wives, Scott and Margo Trew, and Wade and Amy Trew; grandchildren, Zachary Trew, Holly (Ben) Trew-Michael, Justin Trew, Austin (Alex) Trew, Camden Trew, Chloe Trew Amanda (Chris) Offrey, Cameron Miller, and Katie Miller; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Venita Davis, Edith Coleman, and Barbara Houchens; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024, with Pastor Scott Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Benton Town Cemetery, with her family serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be T.R. Stone and Shane Stiles.

Family and friends will gather from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
