Jeffrey James Trentham, 54, of Benton, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020.
Jeff was born in Cleveland, Tennessee on December 8, 1965 to James Marvin Trentham and Johnnie Shelton Walden. He was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church and a talented brick mason who took great pride in his work. Jeff loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed raising game roosters. He will be missed by everyone that was blessed to know him.
He was preceded in death by his fathers, J.M. Trentham and Oddisy Walden; grandparents, Annie and Johnny Shelton; sister-in-law, Crystal Meyers; great-nephew, Kaden Hixson.
Survivors include his beloved mother, Johnnie Shelton Walden; loving siblings, Willa Dean (Tony) Duggan, Charlene (Gary) Helton and Scotty (Tonya) Trentham; nieces, Kendra (Keith) Hixson, Brittany Trentham (John McKeehan), Amanda Trentham (Danny Burgess), Sydney Helton, Dalton Jones, Jean Jones, Jada Jones and Graceland Jones; nephew, Charles Meyers (Dana Creekbaum); step-children, Kirsten Nelms and Kalin Nelms; great-nieces, Crystal Rymer, Kallie Hixson, Kambree Hixson, Hennessey Burgess; great-nephew, Opey Scott McKeehan; and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Delano Cemetery with Pastor Johnny Townsend officiating. John McKeehan, Charles Meyers, Keith Hixson, Victor McTaggert, D.J. Burgess and Gary Helton will serve as pallbearers.
