Jimmy Ray Bryson, 75, received his ultimate gift from God on Christmas morning, December 25, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Jimmy was a deacon at Old Ocoee Baptist Church and was a devout Christian. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a very talented artist. The love for his family was on display throughout his entire life and will be missed by all. Jimmy was an all-around talented and a very special man.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Bryson; parents, Laton and Frances Bryson; brothers, C.L. Bryson and Harold Bryson.
Survivors include his loving wife, JoAnn Howard Bryson; beloved daughter, Kim (Ralph) Brackett; adored grandson and the light of his world, Dylan Brackett; siblings, Lynn Bryson, Joan (Greg) Bush and Tracy (Rock) Alexander. Several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors also survive.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 29, 2019 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor David Qualls officiating.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.
