JoAnn Bryson Campbell, 70, of Reliance, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2019 at her daughters’ home in Calhoun, TN. She was a lifelong member of Greasy Creek Baptist Church.
Mrs. Campbell was born in Anderson, South Carolina and was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Gilbert Jasper Campbell. They were owners of Campbell’s Cherokee Custom Upholstery for 27 years in Etowah, TN. She enjoyed sewing, painting, cooking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Herman and Ruby Bryson. Mrs. Campbell was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Survivors include 3 children, Brandy Campbell Anderson and Homer Shelton Jr, of Calhoun, April Campbell and Allen Dodson, of Benton, and Kenneth Glen Campbell of Reliance; beloved grandchildren, Cody Anderson, Dustin Anderson, Niki Lowe, all of Calhoun, and Satin Wilkerson of Benton; 4 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Tootie Davis.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 18, 2019 at Greasy Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Johnny Wilcox officiating. Interment will follow at Campbell Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the church.
