Karen Burchfiel, 63, of Cleveland, departed this life peacefully at home on June 18, 2024, amongst her beloved family.
She was born on December 30, 1960, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late Arthur and Nora (Scates) Randolph.
Throughout life, Mrs. Karen was a dedicated and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who loved everyone that had the blessing of knowing her. She was a member of Benton Station Baptist Church and loved worshipping her Lord and Savior.
A few of her fondest memories include sharing the world of the outdoors with her husband on their many adventures out west. They visited numerous national parks and went on many rafting trips. She was most known for the love she had for her family, especially her beloved granddaughter, Caylee. Karen was an avid Tennessee Vol fan and enjoyed playing card and board games with her family and friends.
She will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, Arthur and Nora (Scates) Randolph, she was preceded in death by one niece, Rebecca Randolph.
Left to cherish the many memories include her loving husband of 37 years, Gene Burchfiel; children, Gina (Cody) Day, and Tyler Burchfiel; cherished granddaughter, Caylee Day; siblings, Mike (Ann) Randolph, Randy Randolph, and Cathy (Wayne) Croley. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.
