Leslie “Les” Clinton Selby, 78, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 21, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
He was a member of Pioneer Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church. He worked 25 years as a truck driver with McKee Foods. “Les” enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and most importantly, loved spending time with his family. Above all, he had a great passion for the Lord.
“Les” was preceded in death by his loving parents, John Clayton and Ruby Selby; siblings, Christine Brown and Rubin Clyde Selby.
He is survived by his beloved children, Lisa (Ben) Brown, Debra Renaee (Jeff) Black, John Nathan (Dottie) Selby, Steve Dewayne (Kasey) Selby; fourteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and the mother of their children, Patricia Davis (Selby); siblings, Ellen (Perry) Bruce, Carl (Loraine) Selby, Dottie (Gene) Balser, Diane (Mike) Selby McCartney and Stanley Selby; stepmother, Robbie Selby. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A Celebration of Life graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. CST on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Smith Chapel Cemetery, 13186 US-70, Sparta, TN. 38583 with Pastor Ben Brown, Sr. officiating.
