Ralston Temple Bailey

July 7, 1935 — March 9, 2020

On March 9, 2020 the angels made a visit to the lake house in Umatilla, Florida and took Ralston Temple Bailey home to be with the Lord.

Ralston was 84 years old and lived his life, loving his family and collecting antiques. His hobbies were hunting and fishing. He retired from the United States Department of Agriculture.  

He is preceded in death by one brother, E.P. Bailey, whose wife Jeanette still lives in Florida.

His loving wife for 58 years is Betty Hall Bailey.  He is the son of the late Everett Bailey and Pearl Porter Bailey. His sister Marian Presswood, husband James and brother Lowell Bailey still reside in Benton.  He has three girls; Temple Gentry, husband Troy.  Shawn Myers and Paquita Bailey. One very special friend Gina Bennett.  Two granddaughters; Madison Myers and Carrie Gentry Droke, husband John, and one very special great grandson, Noah.  He has several nieces and nephews.

A private family graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2020 in Benton.  Visitors will be welcome at our home after the service, at 321 Quarry Rd. Benton, Tennessee at 2:00 p.m.
