Robert "Bob" Hutchinson

Robert “Bob” Hutchinson, 90, of Delano, departed this life peacefully on February 4, 2023.

He was born on November 6, 1932, in Ft. Pierce, Florida, to the late Lamar A. Hutchinson and Edna Myers Hutchinson Victor.

Bob was a 1951 graduate of Ft. Pierce High School, later becoming a Deputy Chief of the St. Lucie Fire District, retiring after 31 years of dedicated and faithful service for his community and was in the Army National Guard for 2 years.  Bob was also a Training Officer at Indian River Community College for many years and was a devout member and Deacon of The House of Prayer Interdenominational Church in Blairsville, Ga., and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, Lamar A. Hutchinson, and Edna Myers Hutchinson Victor, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert E. Hutchinson; stepson, David M. Parent; siblings, Charles A. Hutchinson, and Betty Hutchinson Floyd.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Hutchinson; beloved children, David L. (Connie Munzing) Hutchinson, Charles (Beth) Hutchinson, Gail Hutchinson Wilson, Cindy Hutchinson (Burton) Saleeby, James (Janet) Parent and daughter-in-law, Frannie Hutchinson; twenty grandchildren; forty-five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at House of Prayer in Blairsville, Ga.
